Start a New Patrol

Are you a group of Girl Scouts who want to join Scouting America, too?  

Have a group of friends who all have the same evening free?

Are the current meeting dates/times/locations not gonna work for you?

If you have 2+ girls and need a flexible meeting schedule, start a New Patrol!!!  What is a Patrol? It is a sub-group of Troop 4475 that meets separately during the week then does all the fun activities with the rest of the Troop on the weekends.

To start a Patrol you will need a couple girls, a couple adults, and a desire to grow!

If you have the following you are ready to go! Email committeechair4475@gmail.com to get started.

1. At least 2 girls 

2. One adult female over the age of 18 to be Assistant Scoutmaster*

3. Another adult over the age of 21

4. A desire to grow your patrol to at least 5 girls over the next 12 months.  Patrols work best with enough members to allow the patrol to self govern at all meetings and activities.

* If you don't have an Assistant Scoutmaster, let us know.  Maybe we can help you find one.

Our job as parents and leaders is to give the Scouts a road map and let them run with it.  All of our meetings, campouts, and events are planned by the youth.  They choose the location and activities, even their menus.
